The Librarium Vault
Ancient collections of writings and manuscripts are kept in the Librarium Vault of the Hallowed Sword. It is the repository for centuries of wisdom and history, culled from the reports, treatises and memoirs of the Deathwatch greatest warriors and finest minds. Making haste through the corridors towards the library vault brother Avalanche stops outside the magnificent doors and gathers his posture.
He then opens the doors in a grand gesture and with proud manner walks towars the Captain. As he reach the captain he reports himself.

Moments after Brother Avalances arrival Uriel steps into the Librarium Vault. He nods towards Avalanch. He stops in front of Captain Marius and salutes him.

Joshua äntrar rummet kort efter de andra två. Hans sida blöder fortfarande efter tyrannens bonesword, men blodflödet har avtagit. Hjälmen har han under armen. Hans ansikte är fortfarande svettigt och de svarta lockarna är våta. Joshua har aldrig sett det nödvändigt att, som de flesta bröder, raka hela sitt huvud...

När Raziel stiger in i biblioteksvalvet ser han att många av hans bröder redan är där. Han går mot Joshua och ställer sig bredvid honom, tar av huvan samt tar av sin näbbformade svarta hjälm. Raziel vänder sig mot sin mörka broder som ser ovanligt sliten och ovårdad ut.

Marius Avincus turns around, facing all those present, his deep red clock swirls behind him. He has a determined expression..
- We cannot wait for Brother Sovruc any longer, I have called you all here because, the Librarium Vault has been breached. And an ancient scripture, that is several millennia old, and some sources claim originated on the Imperial Forge World Cypra Mundi, and predates the destruction of Caliban, has been stolen. Why anyone out here in the Jericho reach would want with a scripture that originated in the Segmentum Obscurus is unknown.
- A video feed was taken of the thieves, how they got onboard is unknown, but it is clear that they took advantage of the Tyranid attack to make their move. They also possessed the knowledge to bypass the first defence system of the Vault, which might suggest they have extensive Adeptus knowledge or even training. The Scripture, though highly valued for its age and significance was kept in the least secure area. The secondary defence system kicked in as soon as the Scripture was taken, and one of the thieves was wounded, when they made their escape.
The video feed, starts, the motor of the projector-wheel spins with a tapping sound. What you clearly can make out on the screen are two figures, both dressed in dark robes, making their way into the Vault. Both move with catlike grace. You can clearly se one of them lift the scroll. The flicker of sentry gunfire flashes on the screen and you see one of the two thieves fall to the ground. A shot of that magnitude would have killed an ordinary man outright. But the thief quickly gets to his feet and makes his escape, only slightly limping from the blast. The last image is a clear and visible image of his face. You see that under the hood his face is covered by a silver mask, with a wide grin carved into its features. I clear mockery towards this mans many victims. The screen turns dark and only the repeating sound of the projectors tapping can be heard...

- This is an outrage my fellow brothers, the audacity of these thieves is a perpetration towards us. It is a challenge, and a challenge that will be met with cold steel, the sound of chainswords hacking flesh and the screams of them dying to our bolter fire...
-But this is not all, Brother Uriel has informed me that, Magos Vyakais life might be in danger. My Vox communication is not functioning, is anyone else’s working?

The rage fills Avalanche as he sees the traitorous theft. He then puts on his helmet and tries to communicate with brother Sovruc.
- The vox doesn't seem to be transmitting, sir. At least not outside of this vault. But that is a lesser matter.
Brother Avalanche turns towards the captain and asks:
- When did this theft take place and are there any leads towards where there heading? I'll gladly hunt these lesser beings down and serve out their judgement, sir!
- This Magos Vyakais, who's that, and do we need to make a seach and rescue?
Brother Avalanche body lanuage does no attemt to hide his frustration about the theft nor his eager to carry out the judgment.

Ekot av en enda hård och hastig knackning rusar fram genom rummet, tätt följt av ljudet av dom tunga dörrarna som öppnas, där efter tunga metalliska steg från Dominicus som rör sig raskt fram emot klungan med kapten och strids bröder, Dominicus metalliska stämma: Hail Kapten Marius hail bröder Jag behöver tala med er Kapten privat, jag har viktig information att meddela dig! utan att ta hänsyn av det förda samtal som på går. The sounds of hurried footsteps down the metallic corridors, the rythmic pounding of a staff against the ground, Sovruc was hurrying, he hadn't thought it would take such time to get where he was suposed to be, the call had been urgent and he was late. "I can't belive those serf's sending me down the wrong path, I should've followed my own memory and feeling instead of listening to the disposable assetss, oh well."
He passes a corner and sees the entrence to the library, just as he aproaches he can feel a large impact almost throwing him off his balance. "What in the Emperors name was that?" He thought as he regained his footing and enterd the library. Within he could see the other brothers gathered, one of them seeming to deliver a message with great urgency tied to it.
"Hail Captain Marius and fellow brothers, I'm sorry for being late to this urgent meeting, I will see to that it won't happen again." Sovruc speaks with a voice filled with reverence and grace.
He passes a corner and sees the entrence to the library, just as he aproaches he can feel a large impact almost throwing him off his balance. "What in the Emperors name was that?" He thought as he regained his footing and enterd the library. Within he could see the other brothers gathered, one of them seeming to deliver a message with great urgency tied to it.

Det tar bara ett par sekunder för Mordecai att uppskatta situationen inne i valvet , innan han ställer sig mitt emellan sin kapten och dom andra bröderna med en höjd, osäkrad shotgun riktad mot Raziel och Joshua. Teoretisk reaktion: ett skott fördelat mot vart och ett av målen, typ 24ga Avenger Slugs har en framgångsprognos på 80% mot de bräckligaste delarna av halsskyddet. Båda målen obeväpnade, broder Joshua designerad hotgrad gamma. Okonventionell stridslist. Praktisk observation: tillräckligt med ammunition för en pointblank salva mot bröstharnesk. Avrättningskapacitet: acceptabel.

Raziel ser hur broder Mordecai reser ett vapen mot honom. Han känner ingen fruktan mot detta så kallade hot, för han vet att Mordecai är inkapabel att utföra en handling där en annan broder kommer till skada. I alla fall om han inte vill förråda sin kära Codex Astartes. Raziel vänder sig mot Mordecai.

Hahahaha... Mordecai, du må ha deltagit I många slag, de flesta antar jag är mot eran ärkefiende Tyranids. Men du verkar inte ha mycket erfarenhet av att bekämpa kaos. Du vet inte hur de verkar emot oss, hur de slåss med tankens kraft för att förvirra och skapa oro bland oss. Tvinga oss att kämpa sins emellan. Det är sorgligt att se hur lättpåverkad du är broder. Så typiskt för bröder av Ultramar, så naiva och lättlurade.

Alpha Legion hade en stor roll till massakern där, och dessa två bröder hade huvudrollerna. De är inte att leka med, vi skulle inte ha chans mot dem om ens Marius och Pellas skulle ena våra två skepp mot dem. Som sagt Revenant Silver och Draconian Gold är inga man bråkar med om man förväntar sig att komma där ifrån med livet I behåll.

Ett steg till utan kapten Marius Avincus order och ni blir ett huvud kortare, broder Raziel. Jag känner till Alphalegionen. Astartes Hereticus Gamma, specialisering - infiltration, psykologisk krigsföring och sabotage. Det känns som ett allt för stort samband att stöta på ett par bröder från legionen i en tidigare orörd del av Orpheussalienten, som ni personligen haft samröre med tidigare, och...

Raziel skall precis ta ett andra steg mot utgången då broder Uriel tar tag i hans arm, stoppar honom från att lämna rummet. Han tittar in i Uriels ögon med en kall tom blick. Sedan vänder han sig om mot Marius.
Avincus, jag vill alltid dubbelkolla att mina misstankar stämmer innan jag för vidare informationen till högre ort. Vi Dark Angels agerar inte på impulser och nycker, utan på ren fakta och beräknade beslut. Jag var på väg upp till bryggen efter broder Angelius för att etablera långdistanslänk till mitt Chapter för att säkerställa mina fynd. Nu blev jag stoppad i dörren och var jag illa tvungen att delge er information utan att kunna säkerställa att informationen är sann eftersom jag har blivit, utan rimlig grund anklagad som förrädare. Desutom hotad med avrättningen på plats av er undersåte, båda dessa ting utan en Chaplain närvarande!

Varför de valde att nämna mitt namn kan jag inte med säkerhet svara på, min enda gissning är att eftersom de som senast slogs mot dem var just Ravenwings, precis som jag. Jag har själv aldrig varit i kontakt med dessa två bröder av Alpha Legion, jag har bara hört rykten om vilka de är av Ravenwing bröder som lyckades undkomma deras vrede och hat. Revenant Silver och Draconion gold, bär varsin mask, det är den enda information som har delgivits inom mitt kompani.
